WOOD BURNING

Renaissance Fireplaces

The Renaissance Rumford 1000 and the Renaissance Rumford 1000H are true engineering masterpieces. This award winning item is the only factory built fireplace on the market without a sealed door to burn clean. The Environmental Protection Agency has awarded the Clean Air Excellence Award to this truly elegant wood burning fireplace. You no longer have to sacrifice the environment to achieve an open fire in your living area.

How it works is amazing. These fireplaces are built in the Rumford style to help promote heat production that is then pushed into your living space. The Renaissance Rumford has a guillotine door system that is perfectly counterweighted to allow for absolute ease of operation. This door also swings out for easy cleaning. With the ceramic glass door in the up position, a screen door slides and locks down for ember safety. The lining of the interior firebox is made of skamol which is a very durable yet lightweight. The smooth throat of the fireplace built in the Rumford tradition allows for a free flowing, tall, hot flame that dances away with glee. With the Renaissance Rumford 1000H, hot air is funneled into a room using vents off the top of the fireplace.

When entertaining, make sure that the centerpiece of your space is a Renaissance Rumford. You can achieve a three foot flame in less than five minutes. With these quick light times your guests can watch it light while you ready the food and drinks. Be the talk of the town and add a Renaissance Rumford 1000 or 1000H to your home.

Firechief Furnace

Fire Chief Wood and Coal Furnaces are a fantastic option for anyone who wants to use the existing ductwork. The Fire Chief Wood and Coal Furnaces are capable of being used in conjunction with an existing furnace or stand alone by itself. All furnaces are constructed of high-grade, heavy gauge steel, and are continuously welded for maximum strength. The furnaces have cast iron grates that allow fine ash to drop into the ash pan and leave the hot coals in the firebox. The thermostatically controlled blower with optional filter box delivers warm air, reducing the cost of heating your home. The furnaces also have a water coil option that installs in the top of the firebox.

Fire Chief Wood and Coal Furnaces come in four sizes. The FC300, FC500, FC700, and the FC1100.The furnaces put out 80,000 to 200,000 BTU’s with 4.00 to 11.00 cubic ft fireboxes respectively. The secondary combustion chamber in all units increases fuel efficiency while re-burning smoke and wood gases before they are vented up the chimney. The high capacity three speed blower will operate at 1150, 1500, and 1800 CFMs. When the thermostat calls for heat a small fan turns on and blows air into the firebox. The “blast” effect speeds up combustion inside the firebox so hot air is able to be delivered throughout your duct system. When the thermostat turns the furnace off, a small cast iron air control allows the fire to breath at a slow pace thus conserving fuel.

Backed by a lifetime warranty on the castings and grates you can be sure that choosing a Fire Chief furnace will bring you years of wood heat to your home.
