GAS BURNING

Archgard Fireplaces

Archgard Fireplaces are made in British Columbia, Canada. This fine fireplace manufacturer is known for their vibrant flame and highly efficient heat output. Three Chimneys Fireplace stocks three fireplaces and four inserts for you to choose from. Archgard’s attention to detail is second to none. With handcrafted fronts and surrounds you will be able to find a décor that will match the environment that the unit is in. The reviews are in and they are all positive.

Archgard Fireplaces are uniquely built with the finest materials. Instead of a welded firebox like most fireplaces, Archgard puts their fireboxes together with gaskets and rivets. This manufacturing method allows for a tighter firebox with room for expansion and contraction. You will not get the ping and pang noise of sheet metal expanding and contracting. The burner pan system is manufactured in conjunction with the logs to provide a realistic dancing flame that fills the entire firebox from wall to wall.

The Direct Vent Gas Insert line-up consists of four units. Let's start with the trio of the 22-DVI24N, 34-DVI34N, and 40-DVI40N. This small, medium, large line-up makes it easy for you to choose the insert that is right for you. Recently added is the new award winning 31-DVI33N. With simple, clean lines and state-of-the-art technology, the Archgard 31 sets a new standard that you have to see to appreciate. Once you choose your insert, all we need are some dimensions of your existing firebox and we are off to the races. After we determine the proper sizing for the insert, we choose a brick liner and a surround/front, add a chimney liner and we are ready to install. If you do not already have a gas line brought to the fireplace we will also need that installed.

Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces are great when you are looking for efficient gas heat in the form of a fireplace. Direct Vents make it easy to add a fireplace to a room where there currently is not one. Choose from three wonderful models: 3400-DVTR20N, 72-DVT30N, and the 42-DVT40N. These fireplaces have adjustable burners and optional fronts and trim that would make any fireplace jealous. The 72 and 42 come with pre-installed blowers. Add the gas line and venting to any of these fireplaces for a complete package.

For years you have gone out behind the garage to grab wood for the fireplace. If you’re lucky and it hasn’t snowed or rained in a while you might actually have some dry wood. You haul the wood inside, grab some newspaper from the basement and begin to build a fire. You carefully wad up the paper and then remember that you need some kindling. You go back outside and notice that the box you had kindling in is empty. You know that you will never get the fire started without kindling and you begin to look around the garage for something to use in its place. Gas can? No. Then you see the 6’ 2 x 4 you bought at the lumber yard the other day. Well, you have come this far and you really want a fire. I think you know what comes next.

If that is a situation you can relate to I suggest you come in to our showroom and pick yourself out a Hargrove gas log set. Gas line is piped into your existing fireplace and is connected to a gas valve that allows gas through to a burner. The burner diffuses gas around realistic but non-combustible logs. The logs heat up and radiate heat into the room. Hargrove manufactures the highest quality gas logs on the market. Producing logs since 1959, Hargrove has been a leader in the industry for a long time. With over a dozen different log styles to choose from and several burner and valve options we can help match you with a gas log set that will keep you out of the garage cutting up that new 6’ 2 x 4.

Firechief Furnace

Fire Chief Wood and Coal Furnaces are a fantastic option for anyone who wants to use the existing ductwork. The Fire Chief Wood and Coal Furnaces are capable of being used in conjunction with an existing furnace or stand alone by itself. All furnaces are constructed of high-grade, heavy gauge steel, and are continuously welded for maximum strength. The furnaces have cast iron grates that allow fine ash to drop into the ash pit and leave the hot coals in the firebox. The thermostatically controlled blower with optional filter box delivers warm air, reducing the cost of heating your home. The furnaces also have a water coil option that installs in the top of the firebox.

Fire Chief Wood and Coal Furnaces come in four sizes. The FC300, FC500, FC700, and the FC1100.The furnaces put out 80,000 to 200,000 BTU’s with 4.00 to 11.00 cubic ft fireboxes respectively. The secondary combustion chamber in all units increases fuel efficiency while re-burning smoke and wood gases before they are vented up the chimney. The high capacity three speed blower will operate at 1150, 1500, and 1800 CFMs. When the thermostat calls for heat a small fan turns on and blows air into the firebox. The “blast” effect speeds up combustion inside the firebox so hot air is able to be delivered throughout your duct system. When the thermostat turns the furnace off, a small cast iron air control allows the fire to breath at a slow pace thus conserving fuel.

Backed by a lifetime warranty on the castings and grates you can be sure that choosing a Fire Chief furnace will bring you years of wood heat to your home.
